Say goodbye to ugly Rich Text Editor in SharePoint 2007

You must have had terrible experiment in SharePoint/MOSS 2007 when using the rich Html editor in the Wiki page, Blog post or rich text field. The feature provided is so simple, you can’t do too much thing. If you are also caring about the UI , you may also think it’s ugly.

Anyway, the horrible days come to the end. The SharePoint 2010 provides a better Rich Text Editor. The whole UI is very similar to Office 2007 suite. If you have a change, just go and have a try. You would find that this version has been greatly improved.

Among those improvements, I like the Upload/Insert picture most. I think you must have had such experiment that try to insert a picture into your blog post or a wiki page. You need upload the picture to a document library first, then copy the shortcut link, add it to your page or post. So tedious. But, now, you can Upload/Insert picture just like what you do in WordPress or Blogger.
